For this week’s recommendations The FGI brings you highly selected songs that don’t have the recognition they deserve. Including songs from Counting Crows (they being the most known), Empire of the Sun, The Arcade Fire, and Orson.
Counting Crows is an American band that in their debut album (August and Everything After)
in 1994 released “Mr. Jones” as their first single and most famous song to date.
Empire of the Sun is an Australian duo formed in 2006. Their first album Walking on a Dream, who was release on October 2008, which include as a second single “We are the People”.
The Canadian indie rock band The Arcade Fire gives us one their masterpiece album, Funeral, that released 5 singles out of which “Rebellion (Lies)” became their most successful song.
And finally the band Orson with their song “No Tomorrow”, from their 2006 album Bright Idea.
